The benefits of using a nail buffer

Nail buffing is a process of polishing your nails with a special tool called the nail buffer. Buffing your nails has many benefits and it is a must process in your manicures and pedicures.

The benefits of using a nail buffer are:

  • The process of buffing your nails improves blood circulation in your nail. As the upper rough layer of the nail is removed and the layer beneath it is polished, the blood circulation is also improved as a result of rubbing the buffer over to your nail.
  • After buffing off the ridges, the nail is polished and has a smoother surface so you nail polish or nail paint can stay there longer as it will stick better to the clean smooth surface.
  • After buffing, your nails look very smooth and shiny so you can just skip the part where you apply nail polish on your nails. Instead, they look very cute and pretty after buffing. You can rock with beautiful naked nails after nail buffing.
  • Buffing your nails improve their health as it improves blood circulation so the nail grows at a faster pace than before.
  • If you have stained nails, buffing can remove all the stains and your nails will just look clean and brand new.
  • Nail buffing helps you get rid of dead surface cells and rough surface on your nails.

Nail buffing has a lot of benefits but that doesn’t mean you should do it excessively. Excess of anything is bad and the same is the case here.

Vigorous buffing can lead to chipping and drying of nails and even do damage to them if done excessively. Because you are actively removing layers of nail bed while buffing. So, it should be done very gently and in one direction only. Use good quality nail buffer and take care of your nails well.
