Mismatched nails:
Many people don’t go for this type of design for their nails because they don’t want to limit themselves to some specific colors for their outfits so that they can be matched with the nail art. But when you opt for it, you start to realize its real potential and see just how wild they can get.
Select two contrasting colors of your choice. Apply color 1 as the base coat for one hand and design it with color 2 on top of base coat with whatever pattern you desire. Then apply color 2 as base coat for the other hand and design it with color 1 on top of base coat with the same pattern as before.
Glass swirls:
Super easy to DIY at home. Select two contrasting colors, one of which should be a neutral color. Paint stripes with the neutral color from the base of the cuticles to the end of the nail. Now fill in the space in-between the stripes with the other color.
Grids:
This feels like it’s very hard to do and require very steady hands but actually it’s not that difficult. Just line the nails with tape and fill the remaining part. Remove the tape when the paint is dried out and you’ll get perfect grid pattern on your nails.
