Types of nails
There are a total of three types of nails. These are acrylic and gel. The third type is known as silks, it is mostly used to fix the nail or to make the nail tip stronger.
Acrylic nails
Acrylic nails are formed by combining two products that are acrylic liquid product and acrylic powder product. It forms a hard shell when you mix both of these products. This plastic material is the most popular choice nowadays. You have to file your nails rough enough to bond it with the nail tip.
When your real nail seems to be grown then you see a space between your cuticle and acrylic nail. You will need to go to the salon after 2-3 weeks to fill the gap between them or you also can do it by yourself. But if you have a fungal infection or another type of infection the artificial nails make it worse, so if you have an infection please avoid artificial nails.
Gel nail
The gel nails are more expensive than the acrylic nails. But it remains for about 1-2 weeks easily. The simple process to apply it is, paint the gel with nail polish and put your nail under UV light because UV light makes the nail harder. But if you have any type of infection in your fingers then avoid artificial gel nail because it can harm you.
You can shape the artificial gel nail according to your wish and then do some nail art on it. It looks great on you.
