When winter is ending and summer is just around the corner, your feet are used to being tucked in socks and shoes due to the cold temperatures of winter. You don’t pay much attention to your feet because even you rarely see them. It’s difficult to invest time and effort in caring for your feet when you know nobody’s going to see them.
But when summer is around, it’s time to get back into action and care for your feet to make them more presentable in sandals, etc.
Follow these simple instructions to get started.
Damage control:
Go to a saloon and get yourself at least one pedicure at the end of winter to do some damage control. Winter has definitely done some damage to your feet because of its harsh temperature and dry air. Well, it’s time to do some damage control.
If you don’t have enough time or money to go to a salon then you can get a manicure at home all by yourself. You can find a blog about how to do a pedicure at home on our website as well.
Avoid being barefoot:
We know summer gives you many opportunities to go barefoot and feel independent, to show those well-cared beautiful feet to the world. But it recommended avoiding being barefoot. If you want to run through the grass or walk beside a sea on a beach, being barefoot always makes your feet susceptible to damage and this will ruin all the hard work you had done for your feet to look flawless.
Get rid of dead skin:
Dead skin makes your foot look very pale and rough. Keep a pumice stone in your bathroom and use it at least twice a week to rub off the dead skin from your feet. Rub it against your skin on the bottoms of the feet, behind the heels, and around the toes. Moisturize your feet after this to keep your skin soft.
