Buffing your nails is like sanding your nail surface and you must adopt this process properly in order to make your manicure last longer and to make the grip of your nail polish strong. The first step in this process is to file the nails in your desired pattern, after that use multi-side buffer to buff your nail and use polish to make them shiny. After these steps, the next step totally depends upon you to use nail paint or to leave them as they are
Remove nail polish
First of all, before filing it is mandatory to remove your old nail polish. To do this you need to have a good quality nail paint remover. Dip cotton swab hand rub your nails gently. If required, re dip the swab to remove residue of nail paint.
Nail Trimming
After removing the nail paint, now its turn of trimming. Use a nail clipper and start trimming your nails. At first you do not have to go in detail. Just cut you nails straight and do not worry about sharp corners. After cutting nails, use a nail filer to smoothen the corners
Maintain an oval shape
To make your shape oval shaped you must use the filer gently. Do not use the filer with a hard hand. Start with one and do not try to file a one. Run your filer smooth repeatedly unless you get your desired shape. Now repeat the same process on another corner of the nail. After completing both sides do a final file to fill the gap (if any). Use these steps on all finger nails
Nail buffing
The final step is nail buffing, first, hold the buffing block parallel to nails and place the surface of the buffing brick on the nail. Now start rubbing the grit gently. Rub the buffing block in cross X. buffing will help to smoothen you nail
